01.Winding Structure
The winding structure is chosen depending on the Electrical Stroke. If the electrical stroke is less than +/- 5 mm, it is preferable to apply “Three Stage Winding”. If the electrical stroke is more than +/- 5 mm, the suitable structure is “Taper Winding”.
Electrical Stroke
The electrical stroke is the range of displacement which all performance requirements specified in the specifications can be satisfied.
In general, it is indicated by +/- on both sides of Extend and Retract of the probe centered on the Null position, and is called "Full Scale (F.S.)" for the entire width of the linear range.
Three Stage Winding
The simplest structure with secondary coils placed on both sides of the primary coil. Easy winding.
Taper Winding
The primary coil is placed over the entire winding width of the coil. The secondary coil is crossed and overlapped to form a tapered shape on the outside of the primary coil.
