Introductions & Business Meeting
When you arrive, we will take you to the meeting room.
Your laptop can connect to the Wi-Fi in all meeting rooms.
Lunch
We would like you to enjoy JAPANESE STYLE Lunch（Lunch Box called “Bento” and “Miso soup”).
If there is any food you cannot eat for allergies and / or religious reasons, please let us know in advance.
Plant Tour - Sensors & Motors (2nd Plant)
Firstly, we will take you to the facility manufactures a huge variety of Sensors and Motors for various applications. This facility mainly manufactures Sensors for car and train applications in automated production lines having leading-edge technology. Especially for VR Resolvers, the cumulative global shipments have reached 100 million units in 2021.
This facility also manufactures RVDTs, LVDTs, Resolvers and Motors for aircraft applications. Customers can get a close look at both lines and see the contrast.
For FOD (Foreign Object Damage) controls, please wear a hair cap and put the shoe covers before entering the production lines.

Plant Tour - Special Processes
We will take you to the Special Process facility, Tamagawa Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
It is one of Tamagawa group company having Nadcap certifications and plays an important role for Tamagawa Group’s integrated manufacturing from Design & Development, Special Processes, Assembly to Inspection and Aftermarket Support.
Plant Tour - Actuators & Levers (1st Plant)
Next, we will take you to the 1st Plant that mainly manufactures the products for military applications. Production lines for Actuators and Levers are also located in this facility.
1st Plant has kept Japanese old style building for decades and the total site area is 138,200m2 including office area.
Please wear a hair cap and put the shoe covers before entering the production lines as well as at 2nd Plant.
Tamagawa History Hall Tour
Tamagawa was established in 1938 and it has been more than 80 years since our company started.
Our products cover a broad range of applications not only for aircrafts but also for cars, robots / machines and military applications. We would like to show you our long history here in the History Hall.
02.Access to Tamagawa
Tamagawa Seiki is located in the midst of Japan, in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture surrounded by mountains.
From the airports, you can come to Tamagawa by bus and / or train but it takes time and complicated for unfamiliar visitors.
Please rest assured that we will give you a ride between airport / station, Tamagawa facilities and hotels.
Maglev Train in the near future
In 2027, high-speed Maglev Train line is planned to open between Tokyo and Nagoya. One of the station will be built in Iida City - only 15 minutes drive from Tamagawa.
We expect that this will greatly improve access from the airports to Tamagawa and help our Customers to visit us.
Column: Tips for Visitors
● Convenience Stores
Japan is known as a country with many convenience stores and our Iida City is not the exception even if it is country side.
In case you leave something somewhere, you can buy most things at convenience stores.
● Payment
You don’t need to carry coins for tipping - there is no customs for tipping in Japan. However, there are limited places to exchange your money into Japanese yen and we recommend you to do it at airports.
Please be assured that you can use your credit cards at convenience stores.
● KOBAN
KOBAN is a small police station for local residents. Police officers permanently stationed at all hours of the day and night.
They will help you to 1) deal with accidents and cases 2) giving directions and 3) handling lost property.
If you need any help like this, let’s go to KOBAN.
